iphone - UIControl track touches outside its view -

i'm building menu subclass of uicontrol opens when user touches , close if user doesn't choose 1 of options.

i'm looking way track when user touches outside can close menu

put 1 view behind menu cover whole area of device background of clear color. when menu open make view visible. has same height , width device whenever click outside menu can identify view using tapgesture or make uicontrol. call method hide both menu , uiview.
