i trying make xampp server public on internet. when try access using ip adress says connection refuzed. have followed lots of tutorials of them older versions. have set 80,443 ports on , have added them firewall exception still not working. can please give me sugestions?
the idea same no matter version of xampp using. it's not clear if configured port forward on router (all connections on ports 80 or 443 forwarded xampp "server"). should orderwise incoming connection never redirected properly.
i not sure if isps can block external access ports 80 or 443, can configure alternative port, 8000, forwarded 80 internally, access server using http://[your_public_ip]:8000
there sites can use check public ip, like: http://whatismyipaddress.com/.
