Pingar opened its office in Cyberport in April 2011 in order to meet growth in the Hong Kong market driven by the need to lower risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve productivity and cost-effectiveness of document-centric business processes. A version of the Pingar API supporting Traditional and Simplified Chinese was first demonstrated at the Hong Kong SharePoint Conference in November 2011 and a collaborative research project is under way with Hong Kong Polytechnic University to further refine and extend Chinese language support.
