c# - Connect issue using IPv6 on Unity3D UNET server -


i deploying dedicated server made on unet , when start server try list of ips (both ipv4 , ipv6). server deployed on linux server on digitalocean ipv6 support enabled, server can pinged via ipv6 address.

when connect via ipv4 client server (from networkclient networkserver) - works fine, however, when connect via ipv6 - timeout error. strange thing seems work fine on windows server (i can connect via ipv6), doesn't work on linux.

i using unity 5.3. , when try dns.gethostentry(hostname) ipv4 addresses usual, ipv6 addresses returned me in format "::", ipaddress.ipv6any field, see them in correct format when ipconfig on server.

can me out issue?

unity's support ipv6 begins 5.3.4p4. please check patch version. try update patch at-least 5.3.4p4
