i bought domains few years ago , managed within admin section provider offered. manage both domains , servers within 1 service, hence azure. way transfer domain service within azure? know can buy domains within azure, hence assume can transfer them azure well, though read everywhere can point them within dns.

you can use azure dns (warning: in preview no sla)

you maintain old registrar administrative activities (i.e. annually payment domain) , move technical activities on azure (name server , dns records). can domanin (yourdomain.com) or zone (subdom.yourdomain.com).
