i've installed dotnetnuke 7 on computer , works perfectly. managed install christoc extension visual studio 2010 , works (i watched video). problem extension vs2010 outdated , use on vs 2012. downloaded vsix file codeplex , installed vs 2012. problem 2 errors when creating "dotnetnuke 7 c# dal2 compiled module" in vs 2012.
this first 1 (i don't think blocking one): ("the project ('dnnvs2012') configuerd use iis web server which...") 
then second error: "an error occurred trying create site http://[...] applicationhost.config error: cannot write configuration file" 
and exception:
in end, project not created @ all. know how solve this? launched unlocker on applicationhost.config file , did not find lock on file.

do have dnn running locally using iis , dnndev.me url?
you might need open visual studio administrator, instead of opening without admin rights, needs access iis
