i new graphite, , want replace whisper db cassandra of cyanite. downloaded cyanite https://github.com/pyr/cyanite . unable figure out after downloading this. couldn't find steps or documentation follow, nor find relevant links in net.
also can explain me pros , cons of using cyanite vs carbon_cassandra _plugin along megacarbon?
are there alternatives cyanite, better cyanite?

we stick cassandra storage backend because of it's datacenter-aware (data spread in many location/zones) , relatively easy scaling (up/out).
so start testing using cyanite. dropped because of read performance regression. see moved forward, frankly wasn't following - review in future.
next give shot disthene. pros compare cyanite:
- "native" webapp implementation (not functions)
- at time looks stable(vide cyanite issues)
- multitenant (need works)
- and last java (arguable https://benchmarksgame.alioth.debian.org/u64q/clojure.html)
currently using disthene, tested 2.5m/min without problems.
