i have 2gb ram machine , wondering issues face if install virtual machine , ubuntu/linux practising hadoop.or need drop off idea 2 gb , go 4 or 8 gb ram laptop/machine
you can try on 2 gb ram , hadoop 1.x versions , need allocate 1 gb of ram virtual machine. face performance issues , lags , not switch more machine , virtual machine , else fine. go below link setup:- https://hadoop.apache.org/docs/r1.2.1/single_node_setup.html
