i have mac machine work build agent. ideally, build definition when commit triggers build, upload code build agent have (from vsts -> mac agent) , build it.
however, want skip uploading part (uploading vsts build agent) assuming having latest copy of source code on mac.
why want this? since have own build agent, own internet. doesn't make sense charge build minutes consumed uploading / downloading source code , binaries self hosted mac agent.
another reason why want internet connection being slow, upload - download eat lot of minutes on vsts super expensive unnecessarily. vso-agent / vsts super buggy @ stage no support sad xamarin / microsoft.
btw, i following article.
there isn't way skip "get sources" step. can submit feature request on vsts user voice.
by way, if have deployed own build agent, won't charged when run build task it. build minutes charging hosted build agent.
